"Midget" arrived 5 weeks late after a scan 2 days before confirming Pup was not in foal. Grrrrr! Bad vets! >:-(. She was quite a surprise and unfortunately a dysmature foal on deaths door. With lots of hard work we pulled her through only for her to seriously injure her back leg at 4 weeks old. We were not sure she would even ever be sound let alone be suitable for showing as the wound was so big. Amazingly though, she has turned out to be a most outstanding foal. She is already demonstrating the start of a big trot like her mum! She also attended her first show and ended up Reserve Champion and then finished the season going M+M In Hand Champion.  Needless to say, Midget shall be staying with me for life!

Truly is the Studs first official "Dantona" foal. Already proving to be a showing star she has had some great placings from standing Champion of the breeding classes at the DCHPA show, lots of firsts, 2nd in the foal class at Royal Cornwall and a respectable 8th place in the filly foal class at the Royal Welsh. Currently the plan is to keep Truly as a future ridden prospect, although I would consider long term loan or sale to only the very best of homes.
